2019 Infiniti QX50 looks better with the new Larte Design body kit

The Infiniti QX50 has it hard going in the same market niche as the Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, and Volvo XC60, with other models like the Lexus NX or Cadillac XT5 coming dangerously close, too. The luxury SUV has few key selling points that would set it apart from its peers. Expensive open-pore wood veneer trimming is nice, and so is the class-leading trunk size, but they don’t quite cut it. Then there is the innovative variable-compression engine that harbors some truly advanced tech, at least on paper. In practice, its mediocre performance (272 hp / 203 kW) doesn’t quite live up to its healthy appetite (11 liters / 100 km, 25.6 MPG in the UK or 21.4 MPG in the USA). So what could you do to make that QX50 appeal to your customers?

Start offering a well-designed body kit for it, that’s what! At least, that’s the way Larte Design chose to go. The Japanese tuner equipped the SUV with a much better-looking radiator grille, a front spoiler lip spanning the entire width of the front bumper, rims for the side air intakes, and a bulky rear fascia add-on styled like a diffusor and holding four chrome-coated tailpipes.

The body kit looks especially good when painted black and provides a fresh perspective on the 2019 Infiniti QX50 even with the stock wheels still in place.
