Mercedes-Benz brushes up the S-Class before the next year

The new S-Class is only marginally different from the previous iteration, but we hear that a full-on facelift is coming in late 2025.

Perhaps most importantly, the luxury car now supports Level 3 self-driving thanks to an updated Drive Pilot package. Drivers can briefly take their eyes off the road in certain situations, read or even watch videos behind the steering wheel. These features are only available at speeds up to 95 km/h (59 mph) and on select roads in Germany and the USA.

In addition to the new autonomous tech, buyers are now choosing from a wider range of interior trim options and get an updated MBUX infotainment system with built-in ChatGPT support.
