RACE! South Africa makes the Ford F-150 Raptor more SAR-friendly

It has been a while since we last told you about Johannesburg-based tuner RACE! South Africa, but the people were as busy as ever. A few days ago, they pushed out this custom Ford F-150 Raptor that we think is totally worth taking a closer look at.

Many would say the latest-gen Raptor is quite perfect as is and needs no further improvement, but consider that this specific vehicle was imported specifically for use in the harsh conditions of South African wilderness. The massive stainless-steel Honeybadger apron with the integrated bull bar, the winch, the auxiliary lighting all around and the new heavy-duty wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires – none of it looks like it won’t come in handy in these wild parts.

The North American pickup also received red brake calipers, blacked-out windows and a full 3M wrap in matte black. The cabin stayed stock, as far as we are aware, but the running boards have been replaced with more convenient ones.
