Maserati MC20 gets a body kit ahead of launch

Maserati never approved its MC20 into production after revealing it in September last year, and new test vehicles were sighted on the streets came out just a month ago. Could there be some desperate last-minute changes? We don’t know. What we know is that someone got tired of waiting and came up with a body kit for it.

The 3D renders by 7 Designs depict a kit called Aria, and the proposed changes seem to be building upon the original Maserati design without contradicting it. Included are multiple spoilers, air scoops, a massive front splitter, and side louvers, among other things. Longer side skirts make the sports car look lowered, but it is not, and the exhaust tips now stick out of the rear diffuser where the license plate is supposed to be (we wonder where that one will go then).

The launch date of the kit remains unannounced, but 7 Designs seems resolved to produce 25 units of it.
