Cayenne Platinum Edition breaks cover with plenty to show, no extra go

Shortly after debuting the Panamera Platinum Edition, Porsche has unexpectedly added a similar trim to the Cayenne lineup as well.

Like its sedan-shaped cousin, the Cayenne SUV comes with an extended equipment list and sports Satin Platinum design details. These include air intakes, a Porsche logo built into a taillight, and assorted badging. 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels fill out the arches and sport the same Satin Platinum finish. Black exhaust finishers and gloss-black window bezels round off the look.

The Cayenne Platinum Edition is available in black and white body variants, as well as a number of Metallic tints including Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue and Chalk. Interior highlights include chalk-hued safety belts and Platinum Edition polished aluminum side sills. The headrests also bear Porsche emblems by default.

Elsewhere, the limited specification includes dynamic LED headlights, a panoramic roof, Bose audio, atmospheric ambient lighting and 8-way adjustable sport seats. Prices start from $79,000 USD.
