The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe still comes across as beautiful and fresh, but the automaker seems prepared to update it once again.

The latest batch of spy shots reveals a coupe-like GLS being tested on the roads of Sweden in freezing cold. The camouflage is scarce, with the front part of it likely concealing air vents and headlights. The taillights also seem redesigned, but that is about all.

Despite the nakedness of the test vehicle, we wouldn’t expect Mercedes to reveal it in the coming months. Knowing the German brand well enough, we would expect a premiere near the end of 2022 or in early 2023.
