BMW M3 Touring gets loaded with AC Schnitzer options and accessories

AC Schnitzer has unveiled a wide range of aftermarket options for the wagon-shaped BMW M3. Let us see what the family car can offer with a bit of an overhaul.

First and foremost, the stock engine can be tuned to output 590 PS (582 hp / 434 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, an improvement of 80 PS (80 hp / 60 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) over the stock numbers. Should you want a little bit more, a Stage II kit can add a further 20 PS (20 hp / 15 kW) while improving the torque curve.

Other opportunities include the installation of a stainless-steel, active-valve exhaust system available with carbon fiber tips. The suspension can be dropped by 20-25 mm (0.8”-1”) at the front end for sharper handling, although the rear axle remains at its standard height. Those who don’t mind taking their wagon out to the track will appreciate a set of AC Schnitzer RS coilovers for a more flexible suspension setup.

Aside from the above, the car gets an aero kit in the tuner’s familiar style, a protective wrap, assorted decals and multiple sets of 20-inch lightweight forged rims to choose from. Interior options include new aluminum paddle shifters (A/T only), aluminum pedals (M/T only) and a premium steering wheel.
