2022 Fiat Fiorino set to undergo a major transformation

Fiat may have trimmed its U.S. lineup down to only one model (500X), but the automaker seems to be doing just fine in other countries. The Fiat Fiorino LCV in particular will soon get an extensive facelift, judging by the recent spy shots.

The images show a camo-wrapped car, but there is still no mistaking a more up-to-date and stylish front end. The changes are really overdue, considering that the minivan hit the market way back in 2007 and only received a slight refresh in 2016.

The brake lights are also new, and the cabin will likely receive a new trim, a more ergonomic and modern layout, and a capable infotainment system.

Powertrains remain to be announced, but sources say we should be looking forward to a choice between a 1.4-liter four-pot and a 1.3-liter turbo-four.

The next-gen Fiat Fiorino will debut in 2021.
