Lamborghini gets 3 special editions ready to rumble

According to Lamborghini’s report for the first half of the year, the company smashed through another sales record and sold out its entire production plan for 2023 via pre-orders. Next in line are limited editions of the Huracan and Urus models.

A few numbers first. The automaker was able to deliver 5,090 cars to their buyers in the first six months of 2022, marking a 4.9% increase over the last year. The turnover grew 30% to €1.33 billion, and the profit skyrocketed 70% to €425 million.

United States proved the most lucrative market for the brand with 1,521 units sold there. Further down the ranking are China, Germany, UK and Middle East. The highly acclaimed Urus SUV accounted for 61% of all sales.

This is perhaps the reason why the company announced two new versions of the luxury performance crossover coming to the market soon. No details have been given, but a hybrid powertrain, an off-road edition and a facelift all seem possible at this point.

The Huracan supercar will also get a spin-off later in the year. Several days ago, Lamborghini previewed the cross-country-capable Huracan Sterrato in a video that you can find here in our gallery.

There is no specific premiere date, but there are hints that all three vehicles may debut later this month.
