GM UK dreams about the next Corvette

The UK-based design studio of General Motors has tried imagining what the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette may look like.

The company plans to unveil as many as three Corvette concepts this year, all drawn by different designers. The implication is that the final production car may incorporate the design cues of multiple sketched versions.

Other than that, we still know next to nothing about the car. The 3D render seen here is said to be 4,669 mm (182.4 inches) long, whopping 2,178 mm (85.1 inches) wide and only 1,033 mm (40.4 inches) tall. It rides on staggered wheels measuring 22” front and 23” rear.

General Motors has mentioned plans to electrify the entire Corvette lineup, but recent rumors suggest that the company might postpone these plans. An all-electric C9 may be released as a niche offering, at most.
