Volvo EX90 reaches production in the USA

The Volvo EX90 full-size electric SUV has finally gone into production after its announcement in November 2022.

The original manufacturing start date was in early 2023, but the company had to postpone it multiple times, blaming software issues. The U.S. factory where the large crossover is now being made will mostly meet the demand of the local market. Another production line will be launched in China later.

In its most affordable spec, the EX90 commands two electric motors driving four wheels. Prices in the USA will start from $78,000 before destination fees.
